It was fun to have a family get-together when Curtis and Marla's family came from South Dakota. They had been to their Stake's Pioneer Trek in Wyoming and then came on to Utah for a visit (arriving June 20th and leaving the morning of June 25th).
Our Utah families came for a Sunday evening meal
and visit while Curtis and Marla's family were here.

I didn't get the camera out until most of Ryan's
family had gone. I did catch Ryan in a picture.
He and Tani were here along with Kyle and Koryn,
Carson and Maria, and Marisa and her friend Trevor.
(Maren, Haley, Megan, Trevor, and Ryan)
We were pleased to have my nephew and his family also come.
(Kayleen, Kristin, and David Nelson;
their daughter Rachelle and Kayleen's niece not in the photo.)
The pool provided fun while the families were here.
Jacob and Ethan liked diving into the small blue ring
and had some successful dives.
(One of Jacob's tries.)
It doesn't look like this was Ethan's best try.
Mason liked the blue ring, too.
Isaac after he got out of the pool.

Anna and her dad
Gramma got a turn with Corban.
Joshua celebrated his birthday early
with cousins and family
and had a party with friends later.
We also got to wish Curtis a "Happy Birthday,"
as the Smiths got here on the evening of June 20th.
A pretty girl and a pretty sunset.

While Curtis and Marla were here, we were
invited to go with them to Megan Smith's
grandparent's cabin in Vivian Park for
an enjoyable evening. Megan is engaged to Trevor.
(Playing progressive ping pong, and Sam is next in line.)

We enjoyed a visit from Maradel and Mike Brown
when they came and had lunch with us
Friday, June 20th. We had not been together
since we were in Moscow on our mission.

On June 14th, we watched the parade in
Springville as part of their community's celebration.
We also had gone the day before with Hal and Christy Smith
and walked around to see the booths featuring
a variety of products for sale.
This was the float with Spanish Fork's royalty
at the Springville parade.

We have been wondering what to do with the part of our property still waiting to be developed
that we had not included in our landscaping projects. Adding a swing
set and a climbing dome is a start, with plans to add some kind of ground
cover. We're still thinking about what else to do there.

Sam raised Jared in the bucket of the tractor
so he could attach the swings.
Ground cover will come later.

Rebecca and Brynlee swinging.

Another pretty sunset looking out our front door.

Kim and Ellyn Berrett's family and Sam and I were invited
to the cabin of the Baadsgaards in Loafer Canyon
for a meal and an enjoyable evening.
After eating, we went for a pleasant walk.

Our ward Relief Society had a nice retreat
June 27th at the home of Saedi Oldham's inlaws
in Covered Bridge Canyon.
The photo is taken in their backyard.
It was a fun evening of visiting, eating, doing activities,
and enjoying the beautiful home and surroundings.
