New Beginnings

Recently, we enjoyed sharing important events with our grandson, Brady.   He is Ryan and Tani's youngest.  We attended his high school graduation on May 30th.  The next day, we joined Brady and other family members in the Mount Timpanogos Temple.  We were pleased to have Brittney show up at the temple, too.  She and Matt and Monty stayed with us for a week while Matt was helping a friend get her mother's home ready to sell after the mother's death.  They returned to Saint George on Saturday, May 7th.

On June 8th, we attended Ryan and Tani's ward to hear Brady speak in church; and afterward, we went to the open house in their home where friends and family gathered to wish Brady well prior to his leaving on June 11th for a mission for the LDS church in the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh Mission.

We now have two grandchildren serving on a mission.  The picture below was taken shortly before Maggie (in the middle wearing yellow) left for her mission and currently is in the MTC in Mexico City.

When Marla was in Utah to take Maggie home to South Dakota
after Maggie's freshman year at BYU,
we went to the Sacred Gifts art exhibit where Maggie
was a volunteer guide.

Engaged May 16 and planning an August 30th wedding.
They had friends over to our home Sunday evening (June 8th)
and grilled hotdogs and chicken.

Summer vacation has begun for our grandchildren.
After going to Brady's open house, Doug and Shannon's family came to our home
and stayed overnight on Sunday until Monday evening.
Todd and Beth's family came over, too.

 Fun in the pool.
