Invited to Todd and Beth's to enjoy celebrating Halloween.

Traditionally, on a Monday before Halloween,
Beth makes "spudnuts" (glazed donuts)
that her family deliver to their neighbors;
and then on Halloween she serves soup in bread bowls
to those invited to share in the festivities and
watch trick-or-treaters come.

This year, Beth did it all on October 31,
working everything in between church meetings,
so Alex could be part of it after
recovering from his Covid.

The tradition of making glazed spudnuts for Halloween
is the treat I used to make for trick-or-treaters and friends,
which started in St. Johns and continued in Ann Arbor and Martin.
It is nice to enjoy Beth's now in Spanish Fork!

Here are some more cute Halloween memories:

It was fun to have these grandkids stop by our house
on their way to town to go trick-or-treating
when we still lived on the farm.

Amanda and Megan found dresses to wear in my dress-up box,
which in past years became a source for the children
to put together interesting costumes.
