An annual celebration during the month of July in Spanish Fork is Fiesta Days, which includes the pioneer day celebration on the 24th. On Friday, the 21st, we walked around the craft fair with Beth, Megan, Ethan, Joshua, and Rebecca; and for lunch Sam and I enjoyed the tri tip beef sandwiches from the Catmull's food booth. The next morning, we went to the Car Show. On the 24th in the morning, we went to the parade and then to the Quilt Show at Pioneer Park; and that evening we went to the rodeo with Hal and Christy Smith.

We had never been inside the buildings at Pioneer Park before
and enjoyed our visit here on the 24th after watching the parade.
The Quilt Display at Pioneer Park
This was my favorite quilt, not only because of the quality workmanship,
but also because of the theme.
It would be great to have one similar as a keepsake for our Ireland Family Reunion.

The Little Mermaid
I went with Christy Smith to see Spanish Fork Community Theater's musical,
The Little Mermaid
performed at Spanish Fork High School.
It was well done and fun to see.
Having my picture taken with Ursula and
and Flotsam and Jetsam
from the cast of The Little Mermaid.

Enjoying Corn from Our Garden
Sam picking corn for us and more to take around to the neighborhood.
Sometimes we drive to deliver sacks of corn,
and sometimes Sam takes a bag or two with us on our walk.
The corn planted in the middle of April is almost all picked,
but the next rows planted are ready now,
with later plantings not yet mature.
