On Sunday morning, April 6th, we went to Judd and Amy's ward where Judd blessed:
Nate Frederick Ireland, who was born February 9, 2022.

I received many nice birthday greetings for my birthday and enjoyed being with family and friends who celebrated with me.
I appreciate the gifts and love that accompanied them.
Beth organized a birthday dinner at our home on Sunday, March 6, for those able to attend. I enjoyed the delicious soups brought by Beth, Kristine, Sarah, and Shannon along with cornbread and brownies with ice cream for dessert. We appreciated celebrating with Scott and Kristine, Shannon, Jenna and Josh; Todd and Beth, Jared, Rebecca, Joshua, Amanda and Alex; Doug and Shannon, Jacob, Brynlee, Isaac, Mason, and Corban; and Sarah, Anna, Paul, Max, and Grant (Derek was out of town).

Amanda crocheted the darling stuffed bear for me.
She knows I like decorative bears.
I always appreciate Beth arranging these nice family dinners.
Beth gave me a nice set of wash cloths she crocheted.
I like Shannon and Doug's gift and have it displayed for Easter.
Ryan and Tani were unable to come on Sunday, so they came the next day to celebrate with me; and Beth brought broccoli soup, cornbread, and brownies. Scott and Kristine gave me a special cake decorated with fresh fruit.
Ryan and Tani brought me flowers the next day, Monday.
Scott and Kristine came on the 4th, and it was nice having them here for the birthday celebrations. Their birthday gift was this delicious cake topped with fresh fruit.

Beth took this photo of Rebecca and me. We three enjoyed seeing the play, "Bright Star" at the Hale Theater on March 9th.
On the day of my actual birthday, March 10th, Sam and I were invited to a Cafe Rio lunch at Hal and Christy Smith's home where we enjoyed the food and visiting. We shared my birthday cake with them to accompany the chocolate ice cream.
I also appreciated the numerous birthday greetings posted on Facebook by friends and family.

Beth, Rebecca, and I enjoyed going to the seasonal crafts boutique in Mapleton on March 9th.

We were sad to say "goodbye" to a dear friend, Cheryl Anderson, who graduated from her earth life on Friday, February 25, 2022, to inherit her Celestial home. She is loved by our Empty Nester friends and was always smiling and friendly in spite of some hardships in her life and having lived alone all the time we have known her in Spanish Fork.
We joined friends and family for Cheryl's graveside services in Springville on March 5th.
Our family has a fond memory of when Cheryl Anderson shared a special Christmas with us in 2013.
Isaac's turn to get his gift from Mrs. Claus
Cheryl came to our home and shared Mrs. Claus's Christmas spirit and love with our family. After sharing a special story about the candy cane, each child sat on her lap to receive their gift from Santa’s bag and have their picture taken.
Later, Cheryl told us how much she enjoyed doing this and that it made a special memory for her, too.

Sam cleaning some of the ice off of the pool on March 2nd. Snow had blown in and made a big drift over the pool cover at the end of December, which then had become ice.
By March 12th, the ice was all melted.
