Currently, those who attend regularly are: Janene and Ross Baadsgaard, Ellyn and Kim Berrett, Sandra and Eugene Cook (although they have recently moved from Spanish Fork and may not be regularly attending), Lee Ellerston (his wife has passed), Jolene and Bob McCarthy, Leslie and Guy Probert, Christy and Hal Smith. Lynn and Karen Haskell have moved, too, currently living in the Salt Lake area so may not be regularly attending.
Mike and Kristi Anderton were serving a local mission and have not been attending recently. The Tubaughs are some times in South America and have not been regular attenders. Vicki Pyne has responded to let us know her husband has health concerns and they have not been coming.
Rene'e and Jesse Dunn are not regular attenders but seem to appreciate the invitations. His health seems to be a factor, and he sleeps a lot.
Sam and I have been the regular hosts for these monthly Empty Nesters occasions. Sometimes we have had guest speakers, there have been times when one of the couples have shared special sideshows or presentations from their life experiences, sometimes we just have visiting and a potluck supper, but we always enjoy these times with friends. In the past, we even had a movie night once or twice and served popcorn. At least once during the summer we meet in our backyard for a bar-b-que.
In previous times, on occasion, we have enjoyed a special tour - once to Antelope Island, another time traveling to Cove Fork in Utah, a special tour of an historic printing press in Provo, and even going together to a special movie. But most times, we meet in our living room.
