Today, Monday, July 27, 2026, our dear husband, father, brother, and friend Timothy Joseph Lux left this world peacefully and without pain.
Tim was surrounded by his loving wife Diane and two sons Kyle and Christian. Tim is survived by brother Steve Lux (wife Julie) and sister Melanie Lux (4 Cavaliers who will remain nameless), Kyle’s wife Catherine Lux, granddaughter Ruby Lux, and his beloved and devoted cat pal Sushi.
Tim battled cancer for nearly 10 years. The amazing thing about Tim is that he never threw in the towel. He never complained or felt sorry for himself. Instead he lived life to the fullest, hand-in-hand with Diane. Over the past decade they moved from CA to NC, made tons of great new friends, played golf, traveled the world, had a few glasses of wine, and laughed and loved like nobody’s business. No one knew how to throw a party, decorate for Christmas, and delve deep into conversation like Tim.
We all will miss him so much.

Tim will be laid to rest this fall at St. Mary’s Cemetery in our hometown of Lafayette, IN.
