Desneiges (Denise) Roy
We met and became friends with Denise Roy and her husband on a cruise we took with Bill and Karen Hicks in 2006. Before the cruise began, we did some sightseeing in Alaska and that is when we first met the Roys. As we were leaving the motel to go sightseeing, the Roys were in the elevator and joined us. They were a fun couple and we continued to enjoy doing things with them on the cruise.
May 25, 2025 - Denise Roy's post on Facebook: "50 yrs ago today I married the man I will always call my forever love...I know he is watching over me from heaven and he sees how I struggle but he sees me doing everything that he did here..he always took good care of me and always helped others with whatever they needed help with..that's how he was..he was always making people laugh!! I miss his smile the way he always complimented me when I did things or yelled at me when I tried to help him... I just miss everything about him. And of course I really miss our times together. Even though our time together was short but well lived he is always in my heart and on my mind..there is not a day that goes by that I don't talk to him or a time that I don't feel him with me..especially when the windchime rings outside my bedroom window that he put up the day we moved here and listened to as we fell asleep in each others arms.
