Lovely Poetry Pharmacy

Lovely Poetry Pharmacy - I thought of one prescription for me today:

- Patient: Anyone suffering from discouragement, loneliness, or uncertainty.
- Prescription: Faith, courage, and an eternal perspective.
- Medicinal Verse — Joseph Smith (1842)
“Shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not backward. Courage, brethren; and on, on to the victory! Let your hearts rejoice, and be exceedingly glad.”— Doctrine and Covenants 128:22
- Dosage: Read each morning when courage is low, repeat whenever hope begins to fade, and share with someone who needs encouragement.
- Expected effects: Renewed faith in Jesus Christ, strength to persevere, and joy in knowing that God's purposes are greater than today's difficulties.
- Poetry Pharmacy Label:
• For weary hearts and troubled minds,
• For those who seek but cannot find,
• Take courage, faith, and heaven's light,
• Go forward still—Christ leads the fight.
The Prophet Joseph Smith's prescription in four words: “Go forward and not backward.”
